StreamStar Access Units are the basic building blocks of a StreamStar wireless
network. With a choice of sector antennas, StreamStar Access Units can operate as a single sector or as part of a multi-sector base station. Models are available in a
variety of licensed and unlicensed frequency bands for worldwide operation.

Access Units are designed as outdoor, integrated units that include digital baseband,
RF, and network processor inside a compact, fully weatherproof carrier-class
enclosure. A single CAT5 cable carries both data and power (PoE) to the unit, and a
single RF cable connects to a sector antenna.

StreamStar Access Units are powered by a high performance OFDM radio engine for
maximum capacity and performance in LoS, OLOS, and NLoS conditions.

Access Units are managed via a built-in secure (SSH) CLI, via the supplied GUI
software application, or via the StreamStar Element Management System. The EMS
offers a full element database, realtime and logged information about network
performance, element status, signal levels, events and alerts, and more.
