The Mini SU devices are a family of broadband wireless subscriber units that allow wireless operators to deliver multi-megabit broadband to residential subscribers quickly and efficiently.

Installed in less than an hour, the MSU is ideal for short range, dense scenarios where an affordable, quickly installed, integrated subscriber unit is required. Carriers and Wireless Internet Service providers can benefit from the MSU by deploying it in rural, compound, and light urban deployments.

Small but powerful, the MSU is capable of up to 6 Mbps data throughput and supports up to 250 hosts (MAC addresses). Installed in multi-tenant scenario, a single MSU can serve an entire building with multiple users.

The sleek, weatherproof units are outdoor-mounted for best signal reception and feature an integrated medium-gain antenna. In addition, the units are so lightweight and compact that they are suitable even for indoor and window installation.

The MiniSU delivers reliable service for wireless clients. The high-power OFDM radio technology allows for LoS, OLOS, and NLoS deployments. All units are IP65 weatherproof for reliable, non-stop outdoor operation.

Power and data is supplied via a single CAT5 cable (up to 100 m in length), interfaced to an indoor network unit (IDU). The IDU connects to the end-user’s PC or network via a standard RJ45 network port.

For management, the MiniSU devices feature a built-in Secure Shell (SSH) CLI, as well as a GUI management tool that allows for configuration, provisioning, and antenna alignment. Five ultra-bright LED lightpipes at the bottom of the unit visually display the signal strength, power and LAN link status.

Deployment Scenarios
Rural – broadband wireless access to houses and villas
Compound – broadband wireless in compounds where wiring is not possible
Urban – point to multipoint broadband wireless in dense urban spaces
