StreamStar Pro Integrated and External Subscriber Units

The StreamStar Pro Subscriber Units are high-end, medium to long range CPE devices for carrier-class broadband wireless networking.

StreamStar network operators can use the ProSU in cases where long range, high performance, and reliability are required. Enterprise clients, private networks, Internet access and backhaul applications – all can be easily served by the ProSU. Wireless Internet Service providers (WISPs) will greatly appreciate its range, performance, and excellent return on investment.

Equipped with an integrated high gain antenna or with an antenna connector for even more antenna options, the ProSU delivers performance and stability for demanding enterprise wireless clients. The high-power OFDM radio technology allows for LoS, OLOS, and NLoS deployments. All units are IP66 weatherproof for reliable, non-stop outdoor operation.

Power and data is supplied via a single CAT5 cable (up to 100 m in length), interfaced to an indoor network unit (IDU). The IDU connects to the end-user’s PC, router or network via a standard RJ45 network port.

The ProSU is capable of up to 6 Mbps data throughput and supports up to 250 hosts (MAC addresses). A single ProSU unit can serve an entire building with multiple residential users or an enterprise network with a router and hundreds of users.

For management, ProSU feature a built-in Secure Shell (SSH) CLI, as well as a GUI management tool that allows for configuration, provisioning, and antenna aligment.

ProSU are available in 2 different models:

- ProSU-I Subscriber Unit with built-in antenna (16 dBi 2.4 GHz, 20 dBi 5 Ghz)
- ProSU-EXT Subscriber Unit with N-Type antenna connector.
